When next you are planning to travel to the isle of Kauai for a vacation consider a really great activity: Tubing. Yes on the paradisical isle of Kauai there is a special place with access to a private rainforest. Deep in Kauai’s outback you can float along the canals through tunnels and flumes on what was once Lihue Plantation. The scenery is amazing and the tubing experience will provide happy memories that will last, and last, and last. You will need to use a Visa or a Mastercard to pay for your adventure as no other form of payment will be accepted.
You will need to contact the Kauai Backcountry Office at 3-4131 Kuhio Highway, Hanana’ula, Kauai, Hawaii 96715 at least 4 weeks in advance to make your reservations. The phone number is 1-866-572-8377 and for about $98 you can experience the relaxing float through incredible historical feats of engineering. The waters gently flow through a beautiful tropical setting and you will have a fun experience for everyone; everyone over 5 years of age that is.
Restrictions:
Minimum age is 5 years old. No Exceptions!
Maximum weight 300lb. No Exceptions!
Minimum height 43 inches tall
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Comfortable closed toed shoes required!
No expecting mothers in their 2nd or 3rd trimester.
Not recommended if uncomfortable in enclosed areas “claustrophobia”.

Lunch Menu:
The lunch menu for this Kauai Tubing Adventures is picnic style with the following sandwich selections; Turkey and Veggie.
Lunch is rounded out with chips, a cookie and bottled water.
Lunch is provided after the Tubing Adventure is completed. Enjoy a swim in the stream after lunch.
What to Bring:
You should wear water friendly shoes, a swim suit or clothing that can get wet. Bring with you a towel, a change of dry clothes, a hat, sunscreen and bug repellent. Kauai Backcountry Adventures will provide gloves, lunch, headlamps and the tubes.
